Welcome to Auto Assist LIVE (“AAL”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By creating an account or using our app and services, you agree to the following terms
Platform Role Disclaimer
Auto Assist LIVE is a technology platform that connects users with independent mechanics for the purpose of live video communication. We do not employ, monitor, or control the mechanics, nor do we provide mechanical advice ourselves. All guidance is offered solely by the mechanic during the session. Auto Assist LIVE makes no warranties or guarantees about the accuracy, safety, or effectiveness of the information provided. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
1. Service Description
Auto Assist LIVE connects users with certified mechanics for live, on-demand video support during DIY vehicle repairs. The platform facilitates guidance only, not physical repairs.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. Mechanics must be 18+, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and agree to the compensation terms outlined in their profile.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity under it. Misuse, impersonation, or abusive behavior will result in suspension or removal.
4. Refund Policy
Users may request a refund within 24 hours of a completed session by contacting support@autoassistlive.com. Refunds are not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
5. Media & Recording Policy
Sessions may be recorded for quality control, dispute resolution, and training purposes. By using the platform, you consent to session video and audio being captured. You may not record or distribute sessions without explicit permission from both parties.
6. Session Disclaimer Acknowledgement
Users acknowledge and accept that all advice provided by a Professional on the platform is used at their own risk.
7. Emergency Use Limitation
Auto Assist LIVE is not an emergency repair or roadside assistance service. For safety-critical or emergency situations, users are advised to seek in-person or professional roadside help.
8. Code of Conduct
All users and mechanics agree to:
Treat each other respectfully and professionally
-Avoid inappropriate language, harassment, or discrimination
-Provide truthful and accurate information
-Use the app for its intended purpose only
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent account removal.
9. Chargeback and Payment Disputes
Initiating a false or bad-faith chargeback or payment dispute may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of access, and potential legal action.
10. Mechanic Compensation & Bonus Structure
Mechanics are paid per session and may be eligible for performance bonuses. Bonuses are issued based on session volume and ratings. Mechanics must meet the minimum threshold of monthly sessions to keep their account active.
11. Mechanic Credentials and Background
Mechanics may be asked to upload certifications or undergo verification. We reserve the right to review or reject profiles that do not meet platform standards.
12. Data Collection & Privacy
We collect your name, contact info, profile photo, vehicle details, session usage data, payment info (via Stripe), and general app usage activity. This data is used to operate the platform, process payments, improve services, and maintain safety.
We do not sell your data. Data may be shared with service providers such as Stripe or Firebase and disclosed only when legally required.
13. Data Protection
We use encryption, secure authentication, and industry-standard infrastructure to protect user data. Video calls are end-to-end encrypted and session logs are securely stored.
14. Data Retention and User Rights
We retain your data while your account is active and for a reasonable time thereafter. You may request to access, correct, delete, or export your data by emailing support@autoassistlive.com.
15. Monthly Subscription Fee
All Users and Professionals (“Mechanics”) are required to maintain an active $0.99 monthly subscription to keep their account in good standing. This nominal fee ensures continuous verification of valid payment methods. If a payment method fails or is declined, the system will notify the user or mechanic, prompting them to update their information. This process helps maintain uninterrupted access to on-demand services and ensures a seamless app experience.
16. Third-Party Services
Auto Assist LIVE uses Stripe, Firebase, Agora, and other third-party tools for functionality. By using our app, you agree to their respective terms and privacy policies.
17. Limitation of Liability
Auto Assist LIVE is a virtual assistance platform. All mechanical advice is provided for guidance only. We are not liable for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from the use or misuse of platform services.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auto Assist LIVE, its affiliates, and team members from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these terms.
19. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time for violations of these terms or misuse of the platform.
20. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the user resides, or where Auto Assist LIVE is legally registered, whichever is more favorable to enforcing these terms. Users agree that any disputes arising from or relating to the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in their country of residence, or as otherwise required by applicable international consumer protection laws. Auto Assist LIVE complies with relevant laws and regulations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia
